Why don't people like reading Breitbart News? - Reddit
The only sure way to check propaganda influencing you is to read widely from sources with conflicting narratives. Then use your critical thinking to determine where you stand. Breitbart is an emerging news source and is learning the ropes, and will ultimately stand on the rather empty other pan of the balance of journalism.
ELI5: What is Breitbart and the controversy surrounding it?
Breitbart is a conservative based clickbait site. "Hillary Seen Drowning Puppies" or whatever stories they can dream up to inflame and get clicks is all they are about. It is the very definition of "Fake news", and the irony of Steve Bannon, a founder of Breitbart, being a top advisor to the President who claims everyone is fake news, cannot be overstated.

I think the difference is that breitbart reports fake news, making up "facts" and huff post reports real news, but in a heavily biased way that makes it unreliable.
